Service Description
This Course meets the Legal Requirements to allow you to obtain your LTC. Our LTC course is different from most because we go above and beyond to ensure you are properly trained. We don't just do a shooting qualification and send you home. We Practice drills and walk through the material so you can truly grasp the concepts. We care about your health and safety so we give you the tools to succeed. This course covers: Part A ‐ Laws that relate to carrying a handgun. • Texas Penal Code Chapter46 • Texas Penal Code Sections 30.06 and 30.07 • Texas Penal Code Section 30.05, Property Code Sections 82.131 and Chapter 92.026 – Carrying, Storage, or possession of a firearm and firearm ammunition on residential or commercial properties • Texas Penal Code Section 42.01 • Government Code §411.2031 Carrying of Handguns by License Holders on Certain Campuses • Government Code §411.2032 Transportation and Storage of Firearms and Ammunition by License Holders in Private Vehicles on Certain Campuses • Government Code §411.173(b‐d) Relating to Reciprocity and Unilateral Agreements with other States • Government Code §411.205 Requirement toDisplay License • Labor Code §52.061 Restriction on Prohibiting Employee Access to or Storage offirearm or Ammunition • Government Code §411.209 Carrying of handguns by LTC holders on a government owned or leased property • Federal Law – 18 United States Code §930 and 39 Code of Federal Regulations part§232.1 • Traffic stops for LTC holders Part B ‐ Laws that relate to use of force and use of deadly force. • Texas Penal Code Chapter9 • Interaction with law enforcement Student Requirments: - Bring your own firearm - 3 Magazines - Bring 50 rounds of ammo for the shooting qualification (recommend Bringing 100-150 rounds for training.) - Eye Pro - Ear Pro - A sweat shirt, a button down shirt, and regular tshirt. - casual clothing
